Those waiting for something new from Ice Spice now have “Popa (Remix)” to check out, marking another release from the artist.

The lead artist gets a guest contribution from Anuel AA, creating a shared performance across the recording.

“Popa (Remix)” belongs to the selection assembled under “Y2K! : I’m Just A Girl“, joining the other recordings that complete the release.

The sound design behind the performance was handled by Synthetic, UpMadeIt, bringing the beat and supporting elements into one arrangement.

The songwriting process included Javier Mercado, Daniel Mohammadi, Emmanuel Gazmey Santiago, adding their ideas to the written material that eventually became the recording.

Music is often better when you find your own moment for it. Give this release that opportunity, revisit the song later, and keep it around if it becomes a favourite.
