Another release now sits in Cardi B‘s catalogue, and “Dead” gives listeners the opportunity to hear what the artist has put together this time.

The recording makes space for Summer Walker, whose appearance introduces another performance without taking away from the main act.

Among the material collected on “AM I THE DRAMA?” is “Dead“, giving the album another song for listeners to discover.

DJ SwanQo, Smash David, Sean Island, Octane, Lateef, Ronan built the record from the instrumental side, arranging the rhythm and musical layers that sit underneath the performance.

The songwriting process included Belcalis Almanzar, Samuel Jimenez, James D. Steed, Ronan Jho Decierdo, Matthew “Sean Island” Allen, Saleem Allen, Omar Lateef Thorpe, Jordan Thorpe, Tyler James Bryant, adding their ideas to the written material that eventually became the recording.

A song can grow on you after more than one listen, so give this release some time. Revisit it later and decide whether it belongs among your go-to tracks.
